Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has added payment via contactless credit card and debit card for all bus, light rail and Dallas Streetcar service, expanding touch-free payment options (other touch-free options already in place include the GoPass® mobile app and GoPass® Tap card).
In addition to ease and convenience, DART’s contactless payment methods offer fare capping, in which a rider never pays more than the total cost of a Local Adult Day Pass ($6) in a single day, and stops charging riders each month after $96 has been spent, the equivalent of a monthly pass.
