Richardson ISD Superintendent Tabitha Branum was recognized at Monday’s City Council meeting with a proclamation honoring more than 29 years of service to Texas public education and her leadership in the Richardson community.
Branum became RISD’s 20th superintendent in 2022 and has dedicated her career to student success, educational innovation, and instructional excellence. In 2026, she was named Texas PTA Superintendent of the Year and Texas Educational Support Staff Association Administrator of the Year.
The proclamation honored Branum’s vision, leadership and commitment to Richardson students, families and schools.
