Members of the fifth Richardson CARES (Citizens Academy & Resource Education Series) class were recognized at Monday’s City Council work session. The class recently completed eight weekly sessions at a variety of City venues learning about the functions of municipal government and its day-to-day operations.
The free, annual program is open to anyone age 18 and older with an interest in learning more about the City of Richardson’s municipal government. Applications for the next Richardson CARES will open in summer 2024.
