Fourteen artists exhibiting at this weekend’s Cottonwood Art Festival visited art classrooms at seven Richardson ISD campuses today, spanning elementary, junior high and high schools. The visits are part of the festival’s Visiting Artist Program (VAP) designed to broaden interest in, and participation with, the visual arts.
During the visits, artists present to classes, demonstrate techniques, lead hands-on activities, and share their personal stories and creative journeys.
