Cottonwood Art Festival staff are asking the public to get creative and help spread some joy to seniors in the community with a new initiative called, “The Art of Love.” The goal is to collect more than 800 cards to give to Richardson residents currently living in senior facilities, many who have been isolated due to visitor restrictions during the pandemic.
To participate, create or purchase one or more Valentine cards. Write a short message inside, draw a picture or share whatever inspires you. Envelopes are not needed for individual cards.
Once completed, submit card(s) by one of the following ways:

Bring them into one of the following City of Richardson facilities:
- Community Events, 2100 E. Campbell Rd. Suite 100 (behind the Municipal Courts Building)
Gymnastics Center
Heights Recreation Center
Huffhines Recreation Center
All cards must be received by mail or in person Wednesday, Feb. 10 to participate.
