Community Events staff announced this week that Minneapolis-based illustrator and painter Brian Jensen has been selected as the Fall 2019 Featured Artist for the upcoming Cottonwood Art Festival, scheduled for Oct. 5-6 at Cottonwood Park. Jensen was selected from more than 240 artists participating in the festival’s juried art show. As Featured Artist, his work will be featured on festival T-shirts and other promotional material as well as in a centrally located booth.
The biannual, free festival, now in its 50th year, also includes live music on two stages, a craft beer garden, a large variety of food purveyors and a dedicated children’s art activity area.
