Construction is set to begin in the next two weeks on a new water line that will stretch from Point North Park east to the Texas Instruments facility. During construction, one lane on either side of the Renner Road median will be closed through December 2023, and one center lane on westbound Renner will be closed Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The alley adjacent to the pump station at Point North Park will also be closed to traffic once construction begins. Any temporary limitation of access to driveways will be coordinated by the contractor in advance. The project is expected to be complete in late spring 2024, weather permitting.
