The City of Richardson, in partnership with CORE District merchants, the Dallas Chinese Community Center and DFW Chinatown, will celebrate the annual Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday, Jan. 28, honoring the Year of the Rabbit. The free event, open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., will be held in the Richardson CORE District at DFW Chinatown and include a variety of culinary offerings, vendors, cultural performances and activities for all ages. Enjoy dragon and lion dances, music, martial arts and Chinese yo-yo demonstrations, art making and calligraphy, specialty food booths and more.
