The City’s Parks & Recreation Department is offering several Thanksgiving Break camps next week at Heights and Huffhines recreation centers, including mini camps and a full day camp. Camps with spots still available (as of Nov. 21) include:
- Chefsville—”Baking Like a Pro” Thanksgiving Camp
Huffhines Recreation Center, 200 N. Plano Rd.
For ages 7-13
Cost: $127 resident, $129 nonresident; supply fee $27
Nov. 24-26
1-4 p.m.
Work with a chef as you make delectable baked goods for the season.

- Immersive Fall Art Camp

For ages 6-11
Cost: $100 resident, $102 nonresident; supply fee $90
Nov. 24-26
2-5 p.m.
Children are invited to immerse themselves in the creative process of painting and learn color theory, brush strokes and perspective using different mediums.

Monday and Tuesday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
