Richardson held its National Night Out event Tuesday night, with parties taking place across Richardson on neighborhood streets and in city parks. State, county and City leaders as well as Miss Texas and costumed characters made guest appearances at the parties from 6-8 p.m.
This is the 33rd year for Richardson to participate in National Night Out, a program created by the National Association of Town Watch that is designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, to help in crime prevention and enhance quality of life.
