Four Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program (RMSIP) students working for the City had the opportunity to have lunch with the Mayor.
The interns have been working since early June with staff from the Library, Engineering/Capital Projects, Police and the Animal Shelter. Now in its fifth year, RMSIP enables incoming high school seniors to receive eight weeks of summer employment at a local business, nonprofit or government agency.
The 2022 program wraps up in August. Applications for next year’s program will be available in spring 2023.
