Despite some minor weather impacts, the City of Richardson’s Parks and Recreation Department successfully held its annual Family 4th Celebration at Breckinridge Park.
Due to the potential for inclement weather, the Richardson Community Band made the difficult decision to cancel its performance to protect instruments. In addition, fireworks were launched 15 minutes earlier than scheduled to ensure the show could be safely completed due to the possibility of approaching inclement weather.
The City thanks everyone who attended and helped make the celebration a safe and enjoyable experience.
