As Richardson thaws out from the first major winter storm of 2023, all City facilities and services resumed normal operations today (Friday, Feb. 3). City crews are monitoring the conditions of streets and treating them as necessary, responding to emergencies, repairing traffic lights, and maintaining water system operations as low temperatures are expected to be in the high 20s tonight (Feb. 3) and low 30s Saturday night. Cleanup of sand at locations where it was spread will begin as soon as possible after the winter weather clears.
