The City Council began its biennial goal-setting process this week. The process allows the Council to develop strategies used to achieve its vision. The Council provides the direction, resources and guidance that enables managers to implement the operational and tactical aspects to achieve the Council’s goals.
Once the Council finalizes their vision, goals and strategies, the City Manager will present the Council with a list of tactics, or ways the City will implement the strategies, for their approval at a future City Council meeting.
