RICHARDSON – The legend of Camelot comes to life starting this weekend at the Repertory Theatre Centre (RTC) in Richardson.
Camelot runs June 18 through June 27.
The classic musical has been reworked with a focus on the show’s three main characters, King Arthur, Gueneveer and Lancelot in a story of love, betrayal, and a vision for the future.
“There’s a lot of grit to this production, lots of drama and romance, all the incidents that make a really fantastic experience at the theater,” said Megan Demsky who plays Guinevere in Camelot.
The show features lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. The score features songs such as “If Ever I would Leave You,” “I Loved You Once in Silence,” and “Camelot.”
People are required to wear a mask in the theater but are they can remove them during the show. Visit www.rtctheatre.com for tickets.
