Preparation for the City Council’s July Budget Workshop continued this week, as staff from Parks and Recreation, Transportation and Mobility, Information Technology, and Engineering gave separate strategy overviews at Monday’s City Council work session. These annual “deep dives” provide the Council with detailed information about current programs, infrastructure and maintenance tasks, along with trends, proposed projects/initiatives and budget requests.
Monday’s presentations included a look at Parks capital asset planning and the Capital Improvement Plan for streets, alleys, sidewalks and facilities; future reports include the Economic Development Strategic Plan scheduled for July 18.
The City Council’s FY 2022-23 Budget Workshop is scheduled for July 25-26. The public is invited to attend or provide input for the workshop via comment cards; click here for more information on how to do that. All City Council work sessions and meetings can be viewed live here or are available for replay the following day at the same link.
