In advance of the public hearing scheduled for March 22 regarding two new options for City Council district boundaries, the Council District Boundary Commission will post the options online March 16 at www.cor.net/boundarycommission. The options were created by the Commission over the course of two meetings last month.

The current nine-member commission was appointed by the City Council Jan. 24 and is tasked with equaling out the population among the four Richardson City Council districts as per federal regulations. The City Council district boundaries that were adopted following the 2010 Census need to be adjusted due to population growth reflected in the 2020 Census.
