The submission deadline for the Black History Month: Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion Art Contest has been extended one week to 5 p.m., Fri., March 5. The extension is being made due to the impact from this month’s severe winter weather.
The contest is open to students (PreK-12) who live in Richardson or attend a RISD/PISD school within the City of Richardson. The contest, which is sponsored by the Richardson City Council in partnership with RISD, PISD and UT Dallas, asks participants to create a visual image that displays how their unique beliefs and values contribute to our diverse community and help promote inclusion.
