RICHARDSON – In response to continued efforts to help limit the spread of COVID-19, the Bush Central Barkway and Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground will close effective March 20 at 11:59 p.m.

In addition, the community is highly advised to not use any playground or fixture in Richardson’s parks since crews are unable to disinfect park amenities in such a way to provide for their safe use.

Parks and trails remain open at this time, but social distancing is strongly encouraged. A statewide order exists prohibiting social gatherings in groups of more than 10 people.

The Huffhines and Heights Recreation Centers, as well as the Richardson Gymnastics Center, have been closed since March 17.

Additionally, all league play and facility rentals are canceled and new pavilion rentals are not being allowed. Parks and trails remain open, but people are encouraged to practice social distancing.
