Wanting to clean out old books, CDs, DVDs and record albums? Consider donating them to the next FOL Book Sale (taking place Oct. 1-3). Friends of the Richardson Public Library (FOL), a 501( c)(3), uses the proceeds of its biannual book sales to support Richardson Public Library services and programs such as lectures, workshops, children’s activities, and Little Free Library kits for the community.

RPD “Can Do” Food Drive Sept. 18

The Richardson Police Department (RPD) is hosting its annual “Can Do” Food Drive this Saturday, Sept. 18, from 8 a.m.-noon in front of police headquarters, 200 N. Greenville Ave. Simply drive up, and officers will be standing by to unload your donations. Food collected will benefit the clients of Network of Community Ministries.
