The latest Things to Do newsletter is out helping you plan your weekend and find things to do locally.

As part of the updating process for the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan and the development of the City’s Active Transportation Plan (ATP), two open house meetings were held this week for the community to offer input.

City Staff gave an update to City Council Monday on the progress of the renovation projects for the Richardson Public Library and Richardson City Hall, outlining that both projects will be combined into one to save on mobilization and other costs. Combining the projects will also mean there will be one architect and one contractor.

The City Council approved an ordinance Monday that increases the property tax exemption for disabled and senior citizens from $100,000 to $105,000.
