At this fun, interactive event, community leaders and professional actors perform a mystery comedy play while attendees work in teams to solve the “crime.”

Altrusa International of Richardson is pairing up with the Richardson Animal Shelter and the Richardson Humane Society for a special pet adoption event. Pet-related vendors will also be on site and a drawing will be held for dog and cat gift baskets.

Registration opens Monday, April 3 at 8 a.m. for Richardson Parks and Recreation’s summer day camps and swim classes. The camps offer a variety of activities for ages 5-15, including indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, and more. Swim offerings include Parent and Child Aquatics, numerous age-grouped swim skills classes and neighborhood swim teams. 

Kids and teens ages 10-17 are invited to celebrate Poetry Month with poetry and other writing styles. Set a personal writing goal, get tips, and stay on track by attending writing workshops with like-minded peers.
