Ronny Glanton, PGA, head professional at the City of Richardson’s Sherrill Park Golf Course, was named this week as one of six inductees in the PGA of America’s distinguished 2025 Hall of Fame Class.

Construction on Richardson’s new City Hall reached a major milestone this week as the first structural steel columns were installed Monday on the northeast side of the building’s three-story section.  

A public hearing on the proposed tax rate for the 2025-26 fiscal year was held at the Sept. 8 City Council meeting. A second public hearing, on the proposed 2025-26 budget, will take place at the Sept. 15 City Council meeting. Following that hearing, the City Council will vote on adoption of both the budget and the tax rate.
