For the Christmas holiday Dec. 24-26, City services and facilities will operate according to the following holiday schedule:

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will follow a modified schedule on Thursday, Dec. 25 as well as next week on Thursday, Jan. 1. There are no service changes for Dec. 24 or Dec. 31. 

The January 2026 print edition of Richardson Today is expected to hit mailboxes next week, packed with information about New City Hall, the Healthier Texas Community Challenge, the upcoming State of the City Address, a wrap up of holiday events in Richardson, and more. 

Due to the upcoming New Year’s holiday, there will be no City Council work session or meeting Dec. 29. The Council will next meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5.
