The Richardson City Council has designated April as the City’s Month of Volunteerism, recognizing the important role volunteers play in supporting City programs, services and events throughout the community. Richardson Reads One Book has announced “The Trouble with Heroes” as this year’s RROB selection. The book, written largely in verse, is from New York Times best-selling author Kate Messner and invites readers to explore a story about grief, growth and finding strength in unexpected places.
