The City of Richardson is hiring for the following positions.

Meet Llyla, a 6-year-old pitbull with a heart as big as her smile. Known for her sweet, friendly and gentle nature, Llyla is a favorite among the shelter staff.

Time for one last splash at the Cottonwood and Glenville pools, as they close for the summer at 8 p.m. this Sunday, July 27 (swim lessons and swim team practices will continue through Aug. 1).

The Richardson City Council will convene into its biennial goals workshop tomorrow, Saturday, July 26 at 9 a.m., beginning the process of creating its 2025-27 goals. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the City Council Chamber at City Hall, 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd. Suite 525.

Local news media were on hand as Richardson native and first-round 2025 NBA draft pick Liam McNeeley was honored at Monday’s City Council meeting by the Richardson City Council.
