The UTD Center for US-Latin American Initiatives, EODIAH, the Mexican Consulate in Dallas, the Fundación José Sacal, A.C., and the American Jewish Committee present “José Sacal: Un Mexicano Universal,” an exhibition of 21 sculptures by renowned Mexican sculptor and surreal artist José Sacal, on loan from the Sacal Foundation.
An opening reception will be held at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center Patio, Sept. 12 from 6-8 p.m. In addition, there will be a talk about Sacal by art historian Gregorio Locke from 5-6 p.m. that day in the UT Dallas ATC building, room 2.602.
