“I Have a Dream” Excerpt Featured in Darbey’s StoryWalk®

Begins at the Friends Garden outside the north side of the Library (near Arapaho Road)

Darbey’s StoryWalk® is featuring the children’s book, “I Have A Dream” for the month of January, which features an excerpt of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech paired with illustrations by Kadir Nelson.

4-5 p.m. 

Kids ages 6-12 can enjoy an hour of fun discovering and exploring science, technology, engineering, art, and math with hands-on activities in two separate groups. STEAM Starters (ages 6-8) will create a balance scale and compare weights, and the C-TECH Kids Club (ages 9-12) will learn about DNA by making a candy DNA sequence.
