Join us for a family storytime program geared towards children ages 3-6 years. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult. No residency or registration requirement to attend.
Darbey’s StoryWalk®Available at Two Locations this Month
Area children and families have the opportunity to enjoy two different Darbey’s StoryWalk® titles this month, one in its usual location behind the Library and one at Santa’s Village at Huffhines Park (see above for more information).
The book featured at the Library location is “Pick a Pine Tree,” by Patricia Toht and illustrated by Jarvis. It’s a look at the holiday tradition of selecting the perfect tree, taking it home to decorate and enjoying time with loved ones.
“A World of Cookies for Santa” is the selection on display at Santa’s Village, written by M.E. Furman and illustrated by Susan Gal. Furman takes readers on a trip across the globe to see all the different treats that await Santa on Christmas Eve, from puto seko cookies in the Philippines to sweet potato cookies in Malawi. Recipes included!
