Increase your appreciation of baseball by learning the basics of baseball scorekeeping, a tradition that began about 150 years ago. This event is perfect for beginners, as the basic techniques will be covered. For adults and teens.
“Spring Break-cation” Activities March 11-17
Staying in town during Spring Break? Or at least for part of it? The Library will be hosting several fun, FREE events over the next several days for all ages:
- C-Tech Afternoon featuring LEGOs, littleBits, Ozobots and more.
Saturday, March 11, 2-3:30 p.m.
Location: Basement Program Room
- “Little Library 101” where participants can earn a “mini-Masters degree in Library Science” using the library catalog, organizing library items and making book recommendations like a pro.
Tuesday, March 14, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Location: Youth Services Area and First Floor Program Room
- Lifesize Games including giant Jenga and Colossal Candy Land.
Wednesday, March 15, 2-4 p.m.
Location: Basement Program Room and Studio RPL
In addition, ages 7+ are invited to a “Wings of Fire” afternoon, Friday, March 17 from 2-4 p.m. for come-and-go dragon crafts and games!
