Dallas Repertoire Ballet presents its 30th anniversary production of “The Nutcracker.” Follow the classic story of Clara, along with her toy nutcracker, as they journey through a magical and wondrous dream world. Also included with the event is a “Nutcracker Nook” gift shop and a silent auction.

Concert pianist Jeffrey Siegel blends commentary and performance in his Keyboard Conversations® series—for the Dec. 12 program, entitled, “Immortal Impromptus,” Siegel explores what is at the heart of Romanticism with impromptus by Chopin, Schubert and Fauré. Learn about the artists, their time in history, and how they expressed the ideals of an era through their musical compositions.

British actor David Payne portrays the late famous British author, C.S. Lewis, as he hosts a group of American writers at his home in 1962 and reflects on how he views the Christmas season. The audience is treated to a display of oratory and humor that made Lewis one of England’s most famous public speakers.
