Last Weekend for “The Hairy Ape” at The Core Theatre
The Core Theatre is hosting The Classics Theatre Project for a production of Eugene O’Neill’s “The Hairy Ape: A Comedy of Ancient and Modern Life in Eight Scenes,” and the show continues for one more weekend.
Last Weekend for “The Addams Family” at RCT
The Broadway musical, “The Addams Family,” is on stage at Repertory Company Theatre for three more performances. The “frightfully delightful” world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and Lurch comes to life in this all-new story based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams.
“She Kills Monsters” Continues at RHS Oct. 30-31
The dramatic comedy, “She Kills Monsters,” by acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen, tells the story of Agnes Evans, who is leaving her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure begins as she finds herself catapulted into the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge.
“Blithe Spirit” at RTC through Oct. 31
RTC is presenting the Noel Coward comedy, “Blithe Spirit” through Oct. 31. The “spookily funny” show involves a novelist named Charles who, in order to gather research for his next novel, invites an eccentric medium to perform a séance in his house
