Applications are now open for the 2026 Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival’s Budding Talent Vocal Competition and the Battle of the Bands. The Vocal Competition is open to performers in grades K-12 and the Battle of the Bands is open to musicians age 21 and under.

Photo Contest Continues
The City’s annual photo contest is in progress and accepting entries through Sunday, Jan. 25. Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, the contest is open to both residents and nonresidents, and is divided into three competition groups (Student, Amateur Adult and Proficient Adult). Costs are $5 per entry for students and $10 per entry for amateur and proficient adults.

2025 City Photo Contest Best of Division Winners and Judges Exhibits Begin Tomorrow
The Best of Show and Best of Division Winners Exhibit from the City’s 2025 Photo Contest, as well as the 2025 Photo Contest Judges Exhibit, will be on display. The Best of Show and Best of Division Exhibit features the work of Sapphire Hao, Rita Johnston and Kellie Carter, while the Judges Exhibit features the photographs of Robin Thompson, Garry Ackerman and Janne Ackerman.
