The City’s annual Trash Bash returned last weekend after it was postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic. This year’s Bash offered several drive-thru activities in the City Hall parking lot and at Richardson Square Mall. Activities at City Hall included:

  • Residential cooking oil/grease collection (place oil/grease in covered containers)
  • Book drive (books, magazines, CDs, DVDs)
  • Free bag of Texas Pure compost or mulch
  • Collection event for Network of Community Ministries

Activities at Richardson Square Mall (sponsored by the Richardson Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association) included:

  • Electronics recycling
  • Document shredding
