The Richardson Parks and Recreation Department has reopened of the Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground at Cottonwood Park. The facility was closed March 20 as part of initial protective actions taken to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Opening of the playground follows guidelines set by executive orders provided by Gov. Greg Abbott. It also follows guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and signs have been placed at the facility related to social distancing.

Except for restrooms, park amenities are not sanitized. If you choose to use the park, please remember to maintain 6 feet of social distancing, avoid the playground if it is crowded and sanitize your hands after use.
