Check out our Pets of The Week: Cola and Niko! They have been best friends and brothers for eight years. They are both neutered, fully vetted and have been patiently waiting for a home of their own for 104 days! Cola is an 11-year-old Chocolate Lab mix and Niko is a 10-year-old German Shepherd mix. They have been around children and their behavior is playful and rowdy with them. They are not used to other dogs, cats or strangers, so they would do best in a home with just these two. In their previous homes, they were outside dogs only, so Cola is heartworm positive, which is a treatable and curable disease. Any adopters would get info on discounted heartworm treatment or you can help us raise funds to start his treatment at the shelter.
How to help Cola: Donate to our shelter or donate in-person to the VCA Pet Doctor for our Shelter’s heartworm treatment fund. They are located at 1421 E. Spring Valley Rd. Come adopt these sweet senior dogs who would live to live out their lives loving on you and goofing around!
