Early voting is taking place through Friday, Nov. 4 for the Nov. 8 General and Joint Election, and election officials report that voter turnout has been steady at First United Methodist Church-Richardson, a Dallas County early voting center chosen to replace the Richardson City Hall vote center. The City Hall vote center is unavailable this fall due to an August fire that caused the temporary closure of the building. Signs are posted prominently outside the building directing voters to the new site. As of Thursday, 5,762 people have voted at the center, the third highest total among Dallas County’s 52 early voting centers.
