Water University, a division of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, has temporarily moved all its courses to its Facebook page (@AgriLife Water University) in observance of shelter-in-place ordinances related to the outbreak of COVID-19. The courses, which are normally offered for a fee at various locations in the Metroplex, will be free and open to anyone who wants to “tune in” on Facebook. Expert horticulturalists and water resource professionals will “go live” on Tuesdays and Thursdays to answer landscaping, gardening and water conservation questions and provide information on a variety of topics.

Upcoming sessions include:

    Tuesday, April 7
    5-6:30 p.m.
  • Texan Plants (how to grow native wildflowers, trees and shrubs as well as other perennials)
    Thursday, April 9
