Altrusa International of Richardson will host the “Outstanding Women of Today: 2021 Unsung Heroes Reception” Oct. 22 at the Richardson Woman’s Club Founders Hall. The reception will honor 17 frontline, local female employees in the medical, nonprofit and public safety fields who have served the community during the pandemic. Funds raised at the reception will be used to support Altrusa’s community programs including local scholarships.
