The City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department turned 60 recently and there are several activities planned throughout the month of January to help celebrate the milestone.
From fun online trivia and games to daily prizes and an old school style scavenger hunt. There will also be customer appreciation parties.
“We are extremely excited about the 60 years. What it means to us is that we have been delivering some great products, services, programs and special events throughout the years,” said Yvonne Falgout, assistant director of Recreation and Events.
During the celebration, residents who buy or renew recreation memberships, 60 days will be added to their membership (valid at Heights and Huffhines recreation centers only).
