    Two new exhibits at the SP/N Gallery span the gamut of art study, from undergraduate to advanced levels. A juried exhibition of undergraduate and graduating students’ work will be celebrated at a reception tonight (along with the show’s juror, New Media Artist James Talambas) and will be on display through May 23; while there, check out the creative PhD exhibition by Tara Lyon entitled, “The Post Apocalyptic Travel Guide,” up through May 28. Lyon’s work blends truth and fiction in a future-world virtual travel experience featuring brochures, videos, a website and “photo ops.” Event links: Click here and here
  • Musica Nova: “Beethoven Meets the Tango” Tonight

    At the end of each fall and spring semester, the Bass School welcomes the University community and the public to a festive open house where graduating seniors from ATEC, Design & Production, Animation & Games, and Visual & Performing Arts present the culmination of their capstone projects: interactive games, digital installations, research posters, short films and more.
