City staff gave a “mid-term update” at Monday’s City Council meeting on the status of the Council’s 2025-27 Goal Tactics. About 80 percent of the Tactics were approved by the Council last September, with new Tactics added organically in response to specific needs.
The City of Richardson’s 2025-2027 Council tactics represent a broad service agenda focused on workforce strength, economic development, infrastructure, public safety technology, financial stewardship, housing, neighborhood reinvestment, public engagement, and regional partnerships.
The tactics help balance Council priorities with the municipal budget and staffing capacity while guiding both near-term projects and longer-term policy work.
