Because Jan. 31 falls on a Saturday, state law says that taxpayers have until Monday, Feb. 2 to pay their 2025 property taxes without penalty and interest. Property taxes owed to the City of Richardson should be paid to either the Collin County or Dallas County Tax Office, depending on where the property is located. The City of Richardson contracts with Collin and Dallas counties for the collection of property taxes.
