Christmas Parade Held in Richardson

Families in Richardson lined up along Plano Road this morning for the 53rd Annual Christmas Parade. This year’s theme was “Holidays Around the World” with the parade benefiting the Network of Community Ministries (NETWORK).

The parade’s award ceremony will take place later today at 5:30 p.m. at Huffhines Park (1500 Apollo Road) with the opening of Santa’s Village.

The tiny town featuring fourteen dwellings will feature musical performances, interactive activities, along with free parking and free photos with Santa.
