City staff, City Council members and other community leaders gathered this morning for a topping off ceremony at the site of the new Richardson City Hall, to celebrate the placement of the final beam at the highest point of the building. Attendees were able to write their names on the beam before placement.
“Topping off” symbolizes the completion of a building’s structural phase, a significant milestone in the construction process. New City Hall, located near the corner of US 75 and Arapaho Road, is expected to be completed in early 2027 and is funded by the 2021 and 2023 Bond Programs.
