The Richardson Animal Shelter has a wide selection of animals for residents to adopt. The Shelter, which is located at 1330 Columbia Dr., places new animals up for adoption daily.
The process of placing a furry friend up for adoption begins with a single picture that is posted on the Shelter’s website, Facebook and Instagram page.
The pictures highlight the animal’s personalities and help them find forever homes.
“A lot of times, the picture is the reason they get adopted. We try and take pictures of the animals at least twice a week. They rotate in and out of the shelter quickly. We post the pictures on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages,” said Noura Jammal, supervisor of events and special projects at the Richardson Animal Shelter.
The latest edition of the city newsletter, Richardson Today, will begin arriving in mailboxes August 1 and has a special focus on the Richardson Animal Shelter. Keep up with Richardson Today stories as they happen, including video, at www.RichardsonToday.com.
