Construction on Richardson’s new City Hall reached a major milestone this week as the first structural steel columns were installed Monday on the northeast side of the building’s three-story section.
Crews are nearing completion of a three-story concrete masonry staircase, also on the northeast side and visible from Arapaho Road. On the west side of the building, the Council Chamber will be the final section to receive structural steel.
The project, which began in March 2025, remains on schedule for completion in early 2027.
