This Sunday marks the start of setup for the City’s semiannual Cottonwood Art Festival taking place May 3-4, as City crews and Community Events staff begin a week of preparations at Cottonwood Park. Around 200 artists from across the nation have been selected to exhibit, joined by a variety of food and beverage vendors set up throughout the grounds, and musical performers on two stages.
Hours for the festival are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, May 3 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, May 4. Admission is free, with additional charges for food/beverages, art purchases and some children’s activities. Cottonwood Park is located at 1321 W. Belt Line Rd.
