Parks crews continue to stay busy across the city working to clear debris from trails and common areas in Richardson’s parks. Their first goal is to clear debris from trails and sidewalks to make them passable; then they are then hauling the debris to the City right-of-way where the debris collecting trucks can pick up the material.
City parks sustained extensive damage during the May 28 storm, with a loss of more than 100 trees and impairments at some playgrounds.
