Transportation and Mobility and Information Technology (IT) staff gave “strategy overviews” at Monday’s City Council meeting, kicking off an annual procession of department reports that prepare the Council for its summer budget workshop, this year scheduled for Aug. 5-6. These “deep dives” provide the Council with detailed information about current programs, infrastructure and maintenance tasks along with proposed work plans and budget requests.
Monday’s presentations included a look at traffic signal projects, the Galatyn Shuttle, and IT enhancements in several areas including sewer inspection, utility billing and the 911 call system.
